Information:

Sensei Chris began his martial arts career at the age of 5 when he attended judo classes conducted by his parents in Innisfail, North Queensland. At a very young age, it was obvious that he possessed a strong inclination towards the competitive aspect of the art. Eventually, his family moved to Brisbane where his father opened Jujitsu clubs in north Brisbane. Sensei Chris took to the art in fine style, and progressed throughout the ranks at a rapid pace, to become the youngest accredited black belt in Australia at the age of 16 years and 4 days. He was further promoted to Ni Dan in March 2008, when he was 17 years. In June of the same year, he entered the Kyushin Ryu Jujitsu Skills Competition and defeated all-comers to win the Open Black Belt Championship.

Sensei Chris is a full time student at the Queensland University of Technology, where he is undertaking a double degree in Law and Business Management. He has been talent identified to represent Australia in the WCJJO World Titles in Las Vegas in 2010. He is an NCAS Level 2 coach, and imparts his knowledge at Zillmere PCYC, while regularly visiting other clubs.
