Over more than two decades, Shihan Moti has advanced through dedicated training, competition, and coaching. His rank progression includes:

  • Shodan (1st Degree) – 2008

  • Yondan (4th Degree) – 2020
  • Godan (5th Degree) – 2026

He has competed internationally, earning Bronze medals at major events including Las Vegas (2010) and the Gold Coast (2017), where he also served as Australian Co-Captain. Beyond the mat, he is also the Treasurer for the club and is an active member of the management team.

When not training or teaching, Shihan Moti is passionate about continuous personal growth, fitness through CrossFit and weight lifting, and outdoor pursuits such as fishing. He brings energy, discipline, and a supportive approach inspiring students of all ages to build technical skill, mental resilience, and confidence.
